The overall design of this facility focuses on embodying the history and heritage of the Three Affiliated Tribes that make up MHA Nation. This facility is full of rich cultural and story telling elements that are meant to enhance the sense of community for the East Segment of MHA Nation. The choice of materials throughout the building display connections to the tribe’s culture, and integrate the building thoughtfully into the town’s master plan. The precast concrete construction covers 60,400 s.f. and contains offices, golf simulators, a gymnasium, fitness room, aquatic facilities, a movie theater, nutrition bar, commercial kitchen, and various other community spaces. The communal space is functional and flexible, accommodating all types of community activities.
