JOB TITLE

PROJECT ARCHITECT

The Project Architect will be a critical member of the project team participating in the full range of project related phases with the client and project manager. Will assist in the development of design work; lead in the production of technical drawings and specifications; coordinate the related work of other disciplines and assume in-house construction administration duties on projects. In the absence of a project manager, act as the primary client liaison and direct the work of others.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Documentation of the project from concept and schematic design through construction documentation and detailing
  • Organization and coordination of all construction documents (drawings and specifications)
  • Client and Consultant coordination to oversee accurate and timely completion of construction documents
  • Research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications
  • Implementation of all local, state and federal applicable building codes, constructability and architectural standards of practice
  • Site observations and site inventory documentation
  • Participate in all aspects of construction administration related activities (in office and on site)
  • Lead/Mentor production staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
  • 7-10 years of project architect experience within the architecture and construction field
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
  • Ability to provide efficient and elegant design solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, able to have a solid working relationship with clients
  • Proficient in current version of Revit Architecture – preferred

SENIOR REVIT TECHNICIAN

In addition to working extensively with Revit models and drawings, the Senior Revit Technician will manage technical staff and work closely with other project team members to coordinate and schedule all construction documents for the projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform drafting on projects of any complexity without supervision
  • Review and integrate structural drawings into the architectural construction drawings on assigned projects
  • Assist technicians and architects with maintenance of job-related files
  • Establish and coordinate in-house resources to ensure project schedules and budgets are met
  • Establish, document and ensure compliance of company standards for Revit modeling & drafting
  • Train entry level technicians on the established business processes
  • Direct the work of technicians
  • Oversee the drawing coordination between all disciplines (i.e. Architectural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Structural & Specialty Consultants)

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology or related field
  • Knowledge of the architectural design practice and the construction industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate others and work effectively in a team oriented environment with a desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to schedule, prioritize and ensure completion and accuracy of assigned tasks without supervision
  • Must have 7+ years of working experience within Revit.
