White Shield Medical Clinic

The White Shield Medical Clinic is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing much-needed comprehensive medical services to the MHA Nation’s East Segment. It serves as a critical pillar of the community’s extensive master plan.

Allusions to the traditional medicine wheel can be found throughout the clinic’s exterior and interior design. The wheel itself is featured prominently at the front entrance, serving as a symbol of the healing services the facility provides. The lobby also incorporates its four colors through a central lighting feature and landscape murals, depicting a sunrise and a sunset in spring and fall respectively. This symbolically represents healing and the circle of life.

Previously, East Segment community members had to travel many miles to access critical medical services. Now, this 14,700 square-foot structure provides convenient access to pharmacy, primary care, dental, optical, pediatrics, women’s health, radiology, behavioral health, physical therapy, and lab services. The facility also features administrative offices and a drive-through ambulance bay.
