ARCHITECTURE

A Brunton Project Manager is a critical member of the project team participating in the full range of project related phases with clients and project managers:

  • Will assist in the development of design work
  • Lead in the production of technical drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate the related work of other disciplines and assume in-house construction administration duties on projects
  • Act as the primary client liaison and direct the work of others

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, design team, authorities having jurisdiction, and associated organizations.
  • Lead the project from conceptualization and schematic design through construction documentation and administration.
  • Oversee project schedule to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
  • Research and coordinate materials and products for project specifications
  • Implement all local, state, and federal building codes into constructable designs according to architectural standards of practice

Qualifications:

  • Five-year Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture
  • Professional Registration is preferred
  • 8+ years of Project Architect/Project Manager experience within the architecture and construction field
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
  • Professional verbal communication and writing skills
  • Proficient in current version of Revit Architecture and Bluebeam
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Adobe, SpecLink/eSpecs or other specification writing software – preferred

We are seeking a talented commercial Architectural Technician to join our award-winning team in creating high-end design solutions for our clients around the US. With locations in Minneapolis and North Mankato, MN, our company culture is family-friendly, and full of supportive, enthusiastic team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other team members to coordinate all construction documentation for the project
  • Perform drafting on projects of varying complexity with limited supervision
  • Review and integrate engineering drawings into the architectural construction drawings on assigned projects
  • Establish, document, and ensure compliance of company standards for Revit modeling and drafting
  • Create and modify Revit families as needed for specific projects

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two-year Associates Degree in an architectural related field
  • 1 – 5 years of firm experience within the architecture and construction field

Responsibilities:

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Looking for a little spark to light up your career? If you’re an experienced Electrical Engineer with commercial building services expertise, then you might just be a great fit for our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor electrical engineering team and technicians in creation of design documents
  • Work with architecture and interior design teams to fully integrate lighting into high-end, innovative design solutions
  • Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for electrical building services and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications, and other documents required
  • Review and manage projects from concept to construction administration phases

Qualifications:

  • Professional Registered Engineer with the ability to achieve registration in multiple jurisdictions, as required by project load
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant codes/standards, regulations, guides, and good practices
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a building design engineering capacity
  • Experience of being Lead Electrical Engineer for more than one project – Required involvement from Concept to Construction – Involved in Construction Administration

INTERIORS

We are seeking an Interior Designer with a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mentoring and assisting junior designers build their skills in the profession.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in programming and planning efforts in tandem with the architectural team to develop schematic space planning and adjacency requirements
  • Create project designs from conceptualization and schematic design through construction documentation and administration
  • Research and coordinate materials and products for project related drawings and specifications
  • Produce specifications and technical construction drawings including finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, and interior details while ensuring coordination with architectural and engineering details
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and assume interior related construction administration duties on projects
  • Implement all local, State, and Federal building codes and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) codes and standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or equivalent
  • NCIDQ certification is preferred
  • 5 years of commercial interior design experience is preferred
  • Strong creative design and drawing/graphic skills, capacity for conceptual design thinking, and 3D design/modeling ability
  • Strong oral design presentation skills are required to communicate with clients
  • Proficient in current version of Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite and SpecLink is preferred
