Brunton Architects & Engineers is seeking a Building Services Mechanical Engineer to join our award-winning team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design of HVAC and plumbing systems including load calculations, ventilation calculations, equipment selection, air distribution system design and layout, plumbing and piping system design and layout, etc.
  • Prepares complete and comprehensive plans, schedules, and details utilizing Autodesk Revit for construction documents under the guidance of the Director of Mechanical Engineering/Senior Mechanical Engineer
  • Coordinates the mechanical Revit model with each discipline to develop an integrated 3-D model and 2-D drawing deliverables as required at each phase of the project
  • Communicates openly and directly in a respectful and professional manner with all colleagues and consultants to develop, curate and document innovative design solutions
  • Reviews and addresses contractor submittals, RFI’s, and provides necessary support for the mechanical discipline on projects during construction administration and building turnover phases

Qualifications:

  • B.S in Mechanical Engineering, an EIT or PE License
  • Proven ability to design HVAC and plumbing systems and demonstrate rationale behind proposals
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site meetings and field verification
  • Proficiency with Revit required
  • Experience with SpecLink, eSpecs, or other specification writing software preferred
  • Experience with Bluebeam and Trace 700 preferred

We are searching for a Building Services Mechanical Designer to join our nationally recognized team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting initial drawings, calculations and design ideas from engineering team and combine all relevant data into initial design models for review and modification
  • Creating construction documents of mechanical, piping, plumbing and control systems for new buildings and remodels
  • Continually develop and maintain an understanding of construction processes and construction documentation
  • Work closely with architects, interior designers, and engineers both internally and externally to define space requirements for mechanical and plumbing systems and layout those systems while blending into the architecture of the building and integrate seamlessly into high-end design solutions

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in CAD design or equivalent
  • 3+ Years experience in designing HVAC and plumbing systems
  • Actively demonstrate initiative and able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines efficiently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site meetings and field verification via company aircraft (no overnight travel)
  • Proficiency with Revit required
  • Experience with SpecLink, eSpecs, or other specification writing software preferred
  • Experience with Bluebeam and Trace 700 preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, design team, authorities having jurisdiction, and associated organizations
  • Lead the project from conceptualization and schematic design through construction documentation and administration
  • Oversee project schedule to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
  • Research and coordinate materials and products for project specifications
  • Implement all local, State and Federal building codes into constructable designs according to architectural standards of practice

Qualifications:

  • Five-year Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Professional Registration is preferred
  • 5-10 years of project architect experience within the architecture and construction field
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements
  • Professional verbal communication and writing skills
  • Experience producing documents in Revit software
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Office 365, Adobe, and SpecLink preferred

Brunton Architects & Engineers is seeking a talented architectural professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other team members to coordinate all construction documentation for the project
  • Perform drafting on projects of varying complexity with limited supervision
  • Review and integrate engineering drawings into the architectural construction drawings on assigned projects
  • Establish, document, and ensure compliance of company standards for Revit modeling and drafting
  • Create and modify Revit families as needed for specific projects

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two-year Associates Degree in an architectural related field
  • Knowledge of the architectural design practice and the construction industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to schedule, prioritize, and ensure completion and accuracy of assigned tasks with limited supervision
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Revit preferred

We are seeking an Interior Designer with a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mentor-ship and assisting junior designers build their skills in the profession.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in programming and planning efforts in tandem with the architectural team to develop schematic space planning and adjacency requirements
  • Create project designs from conceptualization and schematic design through construction documentation and administration
  • Research and coordinate materials and products for project related drawings and specifications
  • Produce specifications and technical construction drawings including finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, and interior details while ensuring coordination with architectural and engineering details
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and assume interior related construction administration duties on projects
  • Implement all local, State, and Federal building codes and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) codes and standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or equivalent
  • NCIDQ certification is preferred
  • 5 years of commercial interior design experience is preferred
  • Strong creative design and drawing/graphic skills, capacity for conceptual design thinking, and 3D design/modeling ability
  • Strong oral design presentation skills are required to communicate with clients
  • Proficient in current version of Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite and SpecLink is preferred

Brunton Architects & Engineers is seeking an experienced Building Services Electrical Engineer to join our award-winning team in creating high-end design solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor electrical engineering team and technicians in creation of design documents
  • Work with architecture and interior design teams to fully integrate lighting into high-end, innovative design solutions
  • Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for electrical building services and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications and other documents as required
  • Review and management of project from conceptualization to construction administration phases

Qualifications:

  • Professional Registered Engineer with the ability to achieve registration in multiple jurisdictions, as required by project load
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant codes/standards, regulations, guides and good practices
  • At least 5 years experience in a building design engineering capacity
  • Experience in being the Lead Electrical Engineer for more than one project
  • Required involvement from Concept to Construction Administration
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership skills and works well in a team setting
  • Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, SpecLink/eSpecs or other specification writing software – preferred
