The East Segment administration building is home to the Tribal administration staff and council for the White Shield Community of the Mandan – Hidatsa – Arikara (MHA) Nation. It’s composed of metal roof panels, decorative stone masonry, and large aluminum store fronts which open to a glass vestibule before entering the lobby. Upon entering the building, you are presented with a high ceiling finished with cedar tongue and groove planks, a decorative lobby wall with ceramic tile, architectural glulams (wood beams), a bronze cast of the MHA Three Chief logo, along with a custom reception desk. The building features 11 offices, additional workstations in the lobby, a staff workroom, a conference space, employee break room, and a private office for the Tribal councilman.
