Sweet Financial (designed while employed at I&S)
Sweet Financial, one of the areas most esteemed financial consultants, requested a building design that blended well with the surrounding residential neighborhood. The 4000 square foot prairie-style building sits amongst full growth trees on a corner lot in Fairmont, Minnesota. The building boasts large conference rooms, multiple private offices, a reception and lobby space with large skylights that are second to none, break rooms, work rooms, and trellis covered exterior patio/grille areas for entertaining clients and guests. Large expansive window systems embrace the natural light as it dances on the walls of the lobby during the morning and afternoon hours of the day. The building has been voted by many as the areas "nicest office building" in town. Corey Brunton, while employed at I & S Engineers & Architects, Inc.,was the project architect and interior designer for this building design and was responsible for the overall architectural and interior design of the building. His responsibilities included meeting with the client, developing concept design drawings and sketches, overseeing the development of the design drawings from concept to completion, and coordination of the various design disciplines involved in the project.
