Brunton Architects designed this 6500 square foot "north-woods style" dental clinic for the Lor-Ray Drive Dental Group in North Mankato. Dr. Gary Eichmeyer, Dr. David Clause, and Dr. Jessica Kuryla outgrew their existing facility and asked that the new building design reflect their individual tastes and appreciation of the outdoors. Construction is set to begin in June and is expected to be completed by the end of November 2009. The building is equipped with 14 treatment rooms, sterilization, lab, private offices, and the most state of art dental equipment. The building's larger dutch hip dormers help admit an abundance of natural light throughout the building's interior zones. Vetter Stone and heavy timber members were used to accentuate the prominent entrance. Long overhangs and shading trellises were designed to help shield the large windows from direct solar glare and will help keep the air conditioning loads lower. Brunton Architects, Ltd. provided the architecture and interior design services for this project. Our talented team of consulting engineers did a great job executing the engineering design for this project. |
