Thank you for your interest in Brunton Architects.
Please feel free to contact us at:
Architecture has been a passion for Corey from a young age. Constantly intrigued with building design and detail, he strived to pursue his dreams of becoming an architect. In 1993, Corey graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota where he earned his Bachelor degrees in Environmental Design, Architecture, and Interior Design.
Corey was asked to join a 20 person E&A firm in Mankato, MN, in 1999, to head up the architectural design department. The 20 person design firm quickly grew to 90 persons in 2006 and added Interior Design to the list of design services. Through the many years of his directorship, he acquired design skills needed to design churches, banks, office buildings, and manufacturing facilities, to name a few.
Corey’s entrepreneurial spirit and strong leadership qualities led him to form Brunton Architects in 2007. He wanted to create a company where at the foundation of the company’s philosophy is the idea of building relationships – relationships between our staff members and our clients. He has taken on challenging lead design roles specializing in many typologies including; fire stations, municipal buildings, retail, medical/dental facilities, and several others.
Currently, Corey and his family reside in Mankato where they have lived for the past thirteen years. Corey has been an active member of the community and is a commissioner for the North Mankato Planning & Zoning Board as well as an active volunteer fireman for the city of North Mankato.
